Help answer this question below.

My cat wont go into heat She is 1 year and 3 months and wont go into heat my male cat ignores her.she hissesat him if he goes near her aswel

    Sammie2610 is correct. Have your pets neutered and stop worrying about who's in heat and when. The world is full of unwanted litters of cats and kittens. Be a responsible citizen and don't add to that misery.

    maybe she doesnt want to have babies.. are you a breeder? there are hundreds of thousands of cats in shelters.. why make more

    Did you have the cat since it was a member of a litter? Maybe whoever had it before had it fixed.

    Also, each cat is different. I've had females who yowled all night and allowed no peace for anyone when in heat, and one who showed obvious signs but was quiet about it. Some are completely silent and asymptomatic. It may have a particular lack of attraction to the particular male as well. Would you do it with just anybody you were thrown together with?
