    speed depends on age ( young double knowledge faster than old) and willingness to learn, as well as IQ

    I don't think it does. We may "know" more from a technological point of view but in terms of getting along with one another? We used to do better before and we're getting much worse at it. So I think it balances out to zero,nada,zip. Technological progress coupled with sociological regress means you're not getting anywhere fast. Happy Tuesday Kev! :)
