Why is it more exceptable for a man to over eat than it is for a woman?

I'm going to presume you "acceptable" or at least "acceptED". Can't add much to Hominan's reply. But my "not much" would be to simply ask YOU a question: How many men aspire to become a "ten" as do women? How much advertizing is aimed at men to be sexually/socially/etc appealing as at women? There's so much to your question.

I am not sure that your question makes any sense.

If your word choice, 'expectable' is intentional, then that would imply exclusion for men who over eat.

If you mean acceptable, that is entirely different.

Either way it is not good for either gender to overindulge in food, but there is no difference based on the reason of gender to either except or accept dietary overindulgence.

It appears that way in society because people prefer for a woman to maintain a certain image, not that that preference is a good thing...

I love a woman that isn't ashamed to eat what they want. My good friend is the biggest eater I know and she is quite proud of it. She is always showing us pics of her food on YELP or FB almost every day. I don't think it is wise to overeat but to eat with no regrets is great.

Don't know about you, but it's not acceptable for anyone to over eat, as far as I'm concerned. It's just plain gross!
