I bathe my dog in the tub. :) I treat my dog like I would like to be treated. And personally, I would not want to be bathed outside with the hose.. Haha

I have a chihuahua and I bathe him in the kitchen sink. He hates baths and shakes - so I end up singing to him. Then he really freaks out! lol :)

I do , we have two dogs and they both get a bath in the tub. No matter how dirty! Not like you can put them in the washing machine! As long as you pull the hair out of the drain no problem!

Why wouldn't you?. As long as you wipe it down afterwards, I don't see any health risks.

Yep, She is a spoilt dog. In the summer its a hos ein the garden but in weather like this is a warm bubbe bath followed by a shower. And then a decent cleaning down of the bathroom! :-)

If you bath your dog reguarly ish then they wont be 'filthy' enough to mess up the house / bathroom.

Yes, absolutely! Although i find it easier to bathe outside during the warmer months, it is necessary to bathe my 2 english setters during the winter also. My dogs are white with spots, so they show dirt and dander more easily than some breeds. My dogs also live inside my home and I do not tolerate dirty animals on my furniture. Contrary to what some people may think, bathing your dog frequently will NOT hurt them or their skin. In fact, most dog shampoos call for bathing once every week or every 2 weeks. I bath about once every 3-4 weeks during the winter (they aren't outside as much) and more frequently (every 2-3 weeks) during the rest of the year. Always use dog shampoo or a very mild "human" one. I have found that switching to my organic shampoo/conditioner occasionally, helps their coats. My dogs tolerate baths very well because I have taught them to accept what I want them to do. The nice thing about showering with your dog is that you can readily wash the hair off the walls, curtain and yourself. I usually shower after I wash my dog and then we get out and towel off together. Showering with your dog is easy so long as they accept your leadership.

I would rather not because it would be unhygienic. Dogs have different body chemistry and secretes different matters unlike humans. One might get a disease from dogs if we do so.
