I bought a Gamecube in Europe, but when I hook the system up to my TV in the US (playing a European game), it only shows in black and white. Does anyone know why this is?

This is because TV's in the USA use the NTSC interface and the TV's in EUROPE use the PAL interface. Since the Nintendo GameCube in EUROPE is only compatible with the PAL interface TV's in EUROPE. So it won't be viewed in black in white. Or maybe there is something wrong with your TV. Or it could be your TV color settings.

When we turn on our Gamecube a warning pops up that says "An error has occurred. Turn the power off and check the Nintendo Gamecube Instruction Booklet for further instructions". We dont have the booklet, what do we do?
