I picked at a zit on my face, and now I have a huge scar that nothing seems to get rid of. My dermatologist sold me some bleaching agent, but that does not work either. What else can I try?

I doubt you'll be able to get rid of it totally on your own, however try shea butter or cocoa butter on the scar. Both help minimize the appearance of scars, though they work best on newer scars. You might also try Mederma. It works about as well, sometimes a little better, but it costs much more.

i here you bro i had this problem a few years ago i ened up with a scar on my nose and it was embarrasing. I think that the first thing to realize is that people arent always looking at it. The second thing is that you need to know is that it takes a long time, perhaps a year in some cases for it to naturally go away, and it still leave behind red scarring. I tried mederma but it didnt do all that much because i think i used it too late. I would reccomend that you come to terms with yourself and realize that it does suck, but there are worse things in life and this is only temporary. Also learn to stop looking at mirrors so much, lol they can be evil. All in all be strong and in time you will overcome this.
