Help answer this question below.

first time learning to play an electric guitar and i am wondering how fun is it or what should i expect to be the heardest?

I really dont know what i should be asking but i am looking to take up new hobbies because i'm bored with reality. I though i'd mix it up a bit and buy a guitar and that good stuff. if yall could just fill me in on a little of it like what i should expect going into this. [[[= im am excited though!

    Like anything you get what you put into it, More practice = better payoff.
    Its not going to be easy, there will be a little soreness involved with your fingers. Now notice I said soreness, if it hurts, you need to stop.

    Learning songs you like will keep you motivated.
    Use a pick from the start, get used to it early, will save you hassles later.
    If you plan on teaching yourself, try and find a mentor that will help you with trouble spots.

    I can go on for pages, but I wont :)
