How do I fix a burnt lemon cheesecake? If it can't be fixed, what toppings could I use to disguise it?

    Hotsauce and Jalapeno.. no one will be thinking about the taste as they gulp water :)

    If you have blackened it, most likely the taste of burnt has gotten deep into the cake. Cheese cake absorbs odors and tastes readily, thus it is mixed with so many other flavors.

    If it just got a little over brown (not chard or blackened) then cut off the overly brown bits and use lemon icing or even a lemon whipped cream http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Lemon-Whipped-Cream-234449 for the last. Personally I do not like the idea of mixing chocolate with lemon the two tastes are not compatible in my mouth. Perhaps others think it is a good mix.
