Help answer this question below.

help me! my brother keeps hurting me and I don't know what to do!

He's always done it off and on, but its everyday now! He punches me, kicks me, pushes me into things. yesterday he shoved me into a coffee table so hard, the glass broke, then he made me fix it before my dad noticed. he shouts in my ear, and steels my money, and takes the things that belong to me. I hate it! I don't know what to do! I can't tell my mom or dad. they wouldn't believe me! but their never home and couldn't even stop him if they did.

I try so hard to stop him from doing this. I fight back. gave him some bruises, but over all hes six years older then me, and a lot stronger. I don't want to keep living like this, but I can't make it stop!!! I'm scared. What am I supposed to do????!

    He is terribly jealous of you. I'm guessing that for 6 years he was the baby then all of a sudden you got all the attention he used to enjoy. I know this doesn't help with the abuse but may help you to understand why.

    What does your parents say about all this?. It's possible your brother may have psychological issues which may develop into sexual/physical abuse. If you can't tell your parents tell someone at school. Better safe then sorry.

    It sounds like this is terrible I couldn't imagine.
    Your on the right track by recognizing and disclosing this and that
    takes courage. This is domestic violence and it's against the law.

    It is extremely important that you find support and disclose this
    with an adult, family member, grandparent, teacher, school counselor,
    or church group who can help you in your area.

    try spinning a broom.
    let it go below your knuckles between your thumb and fingers and all around your hand. catch it as it comes to your palm. spin inside and outside.
    this will teach you to catch his punches.
    if he punches youspin his arm around and catch it with your hand.
    then twist and see if he can untwist it.

    you should try to spin it [outside] untill you can't spin it any more.
    then you should take a break. when you've stretched you should begin when you feel comfortable enough to keep going.

    try to first spin a baton.... stick. cane... umbrella..

    get so good at spinning you can feel it's movement around your hand. and you can close your eyes as you spin it and not drop it.

    this will take training. but atleast you'll have learned how to block stuff.

    maybe you could find a good friend or relative you could live with and then maybe your parents will wake up and realize whats going on but you need to tell the police or a counselor

    And he probably does love you, even if he shows it in a peculiar way. You should just be straight with him and tell him to stop it because he's hurting you, if that doesn't make him stop, you probably should tell your parents.

    You are being abused. Report this to a counsellor at school ( I am assuming you are school aged ). They are required by law to report abuse to the authorities.

    Since the parents won't do anything about it...

    It's over time to contact a school counselor.

    If they won't do anything it's time to contact someone else.

    You're being abused, and it needs to stop.

    Catch him when he is asleep if possible, and tie him up really well. Tell him you will only let him go if he promises to stop hurting you. If he doesn't want to do that, keep him tied up...and don't even untie him to use the bathroom. If you can, tie him to his bed, so he cant move as well.

    After an hour or two of being tied up and not being freed, he should soon get pretty desperate and give in to almost anything just to get free - especially if he doesn't want to humiliate himself by wetting himself!
