Help answer this question below.

My 1 year old cat doesn't bury his poo in the litter box anymore. Could it be its too small for him? What causes this behaviour?

    Have you switched types of litter recently? I notice you say he is scooting across the floor as well. Sometimes that happens if the litter sticks to the cat's butt or if it sticks to their paws.

    It could be that it is too small, but if it is a standard size litter tray I doubt that is it.

    Are you keeping the box cleaned out at least once a day? Because some cats protest less than sanitary litter boxes with all sorts of weird behavior.
