One of our cats talks to me constantly, just not in English. But I can recognize the differences. A few words, translated from meow-speak:
"Take me to the toys."
"Play with me."
"Play with me NOW."
"Snacks please."
"Get off the computer" (usually her tail is put in my face for emphasis)

:D I would Definitely love it if my cat would talk!! lol, he is very VERY vocal, and has different meows and different facial expressions like he's literally trying to tell me something, but comes out in a MEOW. would be cool if he can talk :)
