Believe it or not, it depends on ur cats. My kids (cats) hated it & refused 2 use it. I am still scooping twice a day now! Prissy animals. (smile)

Digressing,
My neighbor has one (which I 'borrow' sometimes,) and she said it's been working fine for a long time; it's whisper quiet and her cat adapted to it quickly, though, the price is exorbitant. It's a wonderful machine, and it's extremely awesome, but let's get real,
You may *dislike* the catbox, but it works, doesn't it? Sure, you have to take it out every week (or every two days, if your cat shits like mine) but that's 200$ less, inn't?

I'm sorry your cats didn't take to it. And honestly that's what I'm afriad of paying all that money just to have them refuse to use it. Cats sure are picky.
