Why are some individuals relentless in their attempts to penetrate the identities of online users?

    Great question, I have never wanted to penetrate any ones ID.

    That said, Because of AB"S site set up its possible to go back for monthes/years? and read the questions and answers of people and I now find myself drawing conclusions on who/what/ why these people are. Some seem so open that I think I know who they are but some you wonder why they are. Probably an Id check would make little or no differance but I am more curious now then I was before I got here.

    Are they ChiLady? I did not know that. The why might be to further harrass those with whom they are obsessed. It sounds like something an obsessed fan would do because of a fascination/envy of a particular person. All stalkers/obsessed fanatics are mentally unstable in my opinon. They are a few cards short of a full deck or they wouldn't be engaged in such activity. Happy Thursday! :)

    I think some of them are 'control freaks' offline and need to know Everything about someone online. They have a hard time accepting whatever the online user wants to be public knowledge and letting it go at that. (or is that more obsessive behavior than control freak ?)

    My guess would be there either assholes and like to start something or teenagers messing around or both. Either way they don't need to do that. If they have a problem they should report it.
