• thats the thing: high number of anniversaries. as in, they've been together since...well, a long time ago. i believe there was such a thing back then, but as for now...all anyone seems interested in anymore is sex, sex, and more sex, and nothing but sex. i may have only seen a small portion of the world, but i really have nothing else to base my frame of mind off of.

• LG- I FULLY understand what you are saying. The only advice I can give you is to NOT engage in casual sex if you are looking for love. Youre gonna have to strengthen your will to say no. If the guy dumps you, then you knwo it wasnt meant to be love. VERY seldom does a man fall in love with a woman he has already had sex with. Love first, then sex. This will eliminate all the negs of dating and open the door for what you are really looking for.

• way ahead of you, hun. call me too much of a romantic, but i've always stuck to the belief that i shouldn't (and won't) have sex with anyone unless i feel he's the one. and by 'the one,' i mean someone who actually loves me and would be willing to wait, etc. granted, it's saved me a lot of heartbreak that would have been, but it has made me wonder of such a thing exists anymore.
  
  and maybe y'all are right; maybe it does still exist out there somewhere. i just haven't seen any evidence of it myself.

• I will tell you a tragic tale with a happy ending.
  
  I WAS you, I had given up, I thought love didnt exist, i believed that the entire male population had transcended down to level of just animal. So, I went about my life a s single mum, happy as can be to never have a man in it. I dated, but I delibarately kept them at an emotional distance. I was happy that way....or so i thought.....
  
  Then one day......out of the clear blue sky.......it hit me! I had fallen in love. This guy was a career bachelor, talented womanizer....it couldnt get any worse!!! So, I broke my own heart and dumped him to get out of the situation. It was over......or so I thought.....
  
  ......much to my shock and awe, my womanizer came asking for my hand in marriage. he swore off all others, declared his love and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.
  
  Im not gonna lie to you, the 1st year of marriage was sheer hell. yes, he cheated, yes he was a real dick. I was so hurt and angry I couldve killed him......only if I hadnt loved him so much. Im not sure what happened with him, but he amended his ways. he is a wonderful husband now. He stuck around and worked through his problems FOR ME because he does truly love me.
  
  My point is.......true love is for true warriors! Be strong, be confident and be yourself. Love will come along when it damned well feels like it and not a moment before then.

• I found true love over 25 years ago. My hubby and I waited until our wedding night and were both virgins. We've have had our normal ups and downs and horribly, even dealing many people trying to destroy our marriage and we are still together forever! WE've only been with each other and I can't imagine being with anyone else. I've been tempted but left the situation each time as I don't want to deal with God if I sinned like that. True love waits and is faithful as in 1 Cor. 13 says. I have no regrets and live above reproach and can sleep peacefully at night. Remember this old saying: "If the guy can get the milk for free, why buy the cow."
