For me, no. I got dumped in a very honest and respectful manner . We still are fine around each other. Though, admittedly, the relationship was not a hugely deeply emotional one.
If ego is involved in there somewhere, I wouldn't be surprised though -- I never could keep all the Freudian terms clear.

That is a possibility but you will never have closure on the relationship if you keep revisiting the person or the relationship. Sometimes we have to swollow our pride and just let it go.

I have seen my ex-wife for a couple reasons, none was for my ego... at least once was to make amends to her for our relationship, to clear myside of the street so to speak, once she asked to see me to do the same thing.
We also meet several times for adult pleasures together... LUST!
Found out BF of 10 yrs has an ex he never ever mentioned. He was with for years. She's contacted him and he never told me. What do u think?
