Open a Flash movie document and click on "modify," change the size to 350 by 50 and click the "Okay" button. Highlight your text and drag it out, click on the "selection" button and change the property inspector text box to "dynamic text." Choose a name for your text box and type in the text for your hit counter display. Open another text box and set it to "static text"; the two text boxes will sit one on top of the other. Why on earth would you want to do that ? A simple counter in HTML or PHP is easy to program, it is fast, and it puts a lot less load on the users computer.
