There are a number of organisms that live around underwater volcano vents, known as "black smokers". The temperatures there are well above boiling point - the water does not boil because of the extreme pressure. I think those are the organisms that live under the hottest conditions that we know of.

Tardigrades. Better known as Water Bears due to their lumbering gait and often gummi bear-like colors. They are all over the planet, can survive temperature extremes from above boiling water to below zero, dangerous levels of radiation, go without water for ten years, and can even live and reproduce in the airless vaccume of space. They are the only known organisms that can do that, which says something about how weird creatures from other planets might be when we discover them.
Also, they fit the definition of ugly cute in my opinion. Creepy and yet somehow endearing. Of course, if they were not microscopic and about the size of my german shepherd, I might be inclined to break out the flamethrower like Ripley did in Alien.
But would that even kill it? Yikes! LOL.
Woah, excuse the massive link. I don't know why it does that, but its just a picture of one magnified and attached to an article.

Cockroaches can live pretty much anywhere. They can be crushed, though, obviously.
