    Although regulations apply to the color and design of jerseys and shorts in volleyball, nobody regulates volleyball knee pads. Manufacturers of knee pads certainly recommend their own brands in advertisements, while independent sources of advice do not recommend specific commercial brands. The National Alliance for Youth Sports recommends that knee pads should fit comfortably without impairing mobility.
