    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

DNA paternity testing results may be very difficult to contest. Since DNA testing does not conclude 100-percent paternity, there is room to request further investigation. Most likely you will need to hire an attorney to assist you. However, a voluntary Acknowledgment of Paternity may be contested within 60 days after signing in the state of Texas. If the 60 days has passed, you will need to hire an attorney to assist in filing a lawsuit to contest paternity.
