Where do portable toilet companies dump the waste?

    According to the Bureau of Land Management in the Department of the Interior, portable toilet companies are supposed to dispose of their waste in authorized locations, including sewage treatment plants, RV dump stations or sewer lines.

    Each company should have a certified dumping field. Usually an open field where they spread out the waste and bring out water and chemical trucks to dilute and sanitize it before it seeps into the earth
