If it is the same as a 2003 you just insert a small screwdriver under the edge of the housing and pry up and pull back. (It is a snap in unit) pull back tilt and disconnect plug and remove unit. Unsnap inner plastic cover over light bulb and replace bulb. snap cover back over bulb and replace electrical plug and snap back in place. (Should take 5 minuets at the most.)

Hi, I'm needing some help with my 99 mazda protege. The headlights seem to work whenever it feels like it (low beams) so I have to constantly use my high beams. What could be the problem and is it expensive to fix?? I'm tired of pissing everyone off!
