    Templates already included with Office 2007 are stored by default in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Language ID Number. Language number represents a language type, which for US English is 1033. User-created templates are stored for XP in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates and for Vista in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates. You can change the user location in the Word options.
