  • You need to consult an attorney about your problem. Generally, you have a contract for lease, and unless it is written to permit them to sell it and require you to move out early they may be in breach of contract if they try to force you out. However, bear in mind that they may be selling it to people with the provision that you be permitted to complete the term of the lease before or even after the transfer of ownership takes place. (They probably have the right to sell both the house and the lease contract intact.) This is why you need to consult an attorney, with a copy of your lease in hand. Don't panic. Talk to your landlord and find out what their intentions are concerning your lease.
