    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Tennis courts can have four different types of surfaces: hard (concrete), carpet, clay and grass. Each surface has its advantages, with grass courts being the most difficult to play on because it can cause the ball to bounce unpredictably. Hard tennis courts are the most common.

There are several different tennis court surfaces, including grass, clay, and concrete. Concrete courts usually have acrylic surfacing for better play.
