Here is my viewpoint and you decide: if you place a winning jockey on a winning horse and bet all your money for this horse to win and does not, what happened?? did the horse have a bad day? on the last turn, did the jockey intentionally hold the horse back? you decide. this is why its called gambling.

I worked at a track as a hot walker when I was in high school. Let's put it this way. Racing involves a lot of money, prestige and easily bruised egos. There was doping going on as I've seen it with my own eyes. Is that the case still? I can't say, as I haven't been around a track for 25 years, but the money, prestige and egos are still there, so my money would be on a yes.

depends on what track you go to. there have been some big scandels at bigger and more popular tracks.
