The car alarm on my 2003 Toyota Corolla beeps too many times when it locks. Can I reprogram the alarm to beep only once?

That is the way Toyota and Lexus vehicles with factory remote keyless entry responds it beeps a few times, i prefer that over the one honk it lets you know that you armed and disarmed.
