Meanings Of Most Flowers

Even though the given answers were all nice and beautiful in meaning for some people, but to me it does not mean anything. I will tell you why..! Flowers are the most beautiful creatures on planet earth. You can enjoy the pleasant smell. You can enjoy beautiful colors. you can enjoy its beauty and so many other things which you can refer to flower. Unfortunately, us, human put names and characteristics on everything which leads to changing the concept of its origin. e.g. yellow flower means hate in some countries or red rose means love and etc. In my opinion it doesn't matter what kind of flower you buy for your love, but the important thing is to BUY one for your love, and any color and any kind will make your love to smile because she/he can enjoy the beauty of it.

dead leaves raked in a pile

Dating back to Victorian days, almost everything including flowers is significant in a relationship.

If you don't know the code, they're a nice gift and usually ... appreciated?

Yes of course they do, there are trillions of meanings for each flower. If you have received a flower from a loved one you can specify the meaning down to the stem at a flower-dictionary site. Ex. Types of flowers . Good luck :]
