Help answer this question below.

Is it clear exactly who will go to the spirit paradise and prison after we die? Will devout Christians of other denominations be able to go to the spirit paradise?

    Presumably, those in spirit prison are those to whom the gospel has not been preached (1 Pet. 3:18-19; 4:6; D&C 76:73). What that means exactly is somewhat vague. One could assume that Christians have been taught the gospel of Jesus in it's plainest form (1 Cor. 15:1-4), yet the Mormon use of the word 'gospel' is more general and often encompasses principles unique to Mormonism.

    No it is not clear exactly. We find devout Christians of other denominations often are humble and teachable and already believe much of the restored gospil, so they will likely be in paradise with the Mormons many of whom need some remedial education = belive things that arn't so. The better informed Mormons will be the educators but the non-member students will often make valuable contributions to the learning process, much as is happening here on answerbag. Neil

    Yes. Faithful Christians who accepted the gospel truths that they had will go to heaven. It does not depend on your denomination. If anything, being a Mormon means that more is required because more was given.
