    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The U.S. Mint issued state quarters over a 10-year period in the order that the states joined the Union. The first quarter was issued in 1999 in honor of Delaware. The final state quarter, released in 2008, featured Hawaii. The years for all quarters are posted on the Mint's website.
