  • Rape is illegal, doesn't matter the circumstances, it is always illegal. However, genital warts would not be able to count as sufficient evidence after threeyears as there is no way that they can be proven to be contracted from the rapist (to my knowledge this is... perhaps you can but I doubt it). The problem with leaving things like this is that as the years goes by it gets harder and harder to prove
  • I think that is so sick of the abuser and think there should never be a time limit on rape
  • There is a statute of limitations on rape but I don't know what it is in Arkansas. It may be that the prosecutors don't think there is enough evidence to convict the person. It's hard to convict someone of rape if the crime is fresh and there is physical evidence much less three years after the fact with no evidence. It's sad but it is how it is.
  • Is not the rape of a child under a certain age a capital crime with no statute of limitations? If not...it should be.
