the wall is already painted. the wallpaper would just be decoration for the upper part of the wall. it is a smaller room so it wouldn't be TOO onerous a task.

I remember living in an apartment as a kid; where some of the walls had wallpaper on it. I didn't like the pattern/decoration on them for one, and they're a pain to remove. Putting them up may prove to be more of a chore then you may think. But if you've made up your mind to put them up, then all I can say is good luck.

ok. it's not an apartment, but a house, so it would be a lot more about how I see the patterns than how future tenants would :) thanks for the advice regardless.
