    The average temperature for Ohio in January of 2008 was 26 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature was roughly three to four degrees higher than Ohio's typical average for January, which is 30 degrees Fahrenheit. The month featured many days above freezing, while only for one night did the temperature dip below zero Fahrenheit.
