Are the running zombies better or are the slow walking zombies better?

Well... would you rather get eaten or stay alive? It's all hypothetical anyways, so whichever way you choose.

Depends on whether you are a zombie or not. If you are a zombie running makes catching and eating people easier. If you are a human non-zombie slow zombies are much easier to escape.

If the zombies are actually reanimated corpses, then they should be slow. If they are just sick people stricken with "the zombie disease," then they can be either slow or fast. I, personally, am not quite as bothered by running zombies as some people are. I think zombies going at any speed are okay, as long as there are a lot of them.

It depends. If you want to live and kill them fast, then go for the slow. If you want to die, by all means let the zombie sprint straight at you.

I think the sprinting zombies is a silly idea. If a zombie is slow, that's because it's a rotting corpse, and while it's brain is still functioning, it's muscles are decomposing, so it can't attack with great skill and agility, its only moving by sheer force of will.

Whereas if a zombie is capable of moving at hightened speed and increased stamina, then you'd think instead of walking around with flesh going mouldy and dropping off, it should be regenerating all over and looking better than a normal healthy person.

I don't really enjoy watching the same thing over and over again so both are fine with me, it adds variety.

Slow zombies - with a slow zombie you can GTFO much easier.

I much prefer the slow ambling gait of the traditional zombie. The newer, more fashionable running sort which are currently in vogue are uncouth and grate against my sense of dignity.

Fast zombies scare the bejeebus out of me.

All my nerdy zombie plans revolve around the slow moving variety. If they were sprinters, I'd probably eat a bullet.
