My inner ear itches alot, how can I stop it from itching?

    If it's in the inside of the ear then lay down and let it work it's way out! Sitting up won't help at all! if it's dry skin, take a Q-tip and put vaseline on the bottom of it and put it in or on your ear. Good luck.

    Technically, I think you mean your ear canal.
    (The ear consists of three basic parts - the outer ear, the middle ear, and the inner ear)

    Often itching in the ears is due to dry skin or wax build-up. You can try a few drops of mineral oil in the ear every day, which will help moisturize the skin and allow any extra wax to come out of the ear naturally.

    My doctor recommended anti fungal cream applied with a Q-tip works for me.

    By use of Q-Tip, drop a bit of Olive Oil on the tip and rub into ear. The oil keeps it from itching. This normally has to be done on a daily basis. Other than this, I would like to know.
