The Location is along the border with Maine and north of the town of Errol, New HampshireErrol, east of Dixville, New HampshireDixville. To the north is the Second College Grant, New HampshireSecond College Grant. The Magalloway River traverses the south-eastern corner, as does New Hampshire Route 16Route 16. ''Mount Dustan'' (2,878 foot (unit of length)feet / 877 meters above sea level), the location's highest point, overlooks the village from the west, and ''Black Mountain'' (2,750 ft. / 838 m.) is in the more remote western edge of the location. At one point there was a fire tower on Mount Dustan. According to the United States Census Bureau, the location has a total area of 50.4 km sq (19.5 square miles). 48.6 km sq (18.8 mi sq) of it is land and 1.9 km sq (0.7 mi sq) of it (3.70%) is water.
