I cannot save Madden 2004 in the franchise mode - it gives a message saying the card was removed during saving and I end up with a corrupted file. I've tried 3 different Sony memory cards. What could be wrong?

Have you tried using a different copy of madden 2004? If not I think you should try a different PS2 unit and if this problem still occurs then im sorry I can't think of anything else to do.

The same thing is happening to me with Madden 07. The first time it said that there was an error loading the file and that autosave had been disabled and then I got corrupted data on the memory card that I couldn't delete. Then I went and bought a new memory card and when I finished a game (week 10 mind you) the autosave was disabled again!! I'm not quite sure what to do, but this is getting nuts. See if you can go to a Game Stop store or an electronics store and bring your memory card with you and ask them to look at it there so that if you have any questions you can ask them then and there and maybe they can fix it without you losing anything. the same thing keeps happening to me around week 10 on madden 2006. I bought a new memory card thinking it would work but i was wrong. around week 10 or so, it was corrupted and i lost everything for the 5th time.
