No. It would fall under your comprehensive coverage which is (from my submission in the glossary): Comprehensive coverage helps pay for damage to an auto that was not caused by collision. This coverage typically includes, among other things, coverage for damage caused by falling objects, hail, fire, theft and vandalism, explosion, and earthquake. Comprehensive coverage covers things that are pretty much out of your control, so you are not penalized for submitting a claim.

I agree with Anderson777, but I would like to add that if you receive payment from your insurance company for the hail damage and you do not use the money to repair the hail damage (it's your choice) , you cannot file future claims for hail damage on your vehicle.

My car was damaged by hail storm, my agent tole me that my insurence will increase if I file a claim. I just called Allstate, they told me that claim adjuster can tell if the insurance rate increase, this only after you file a claim. Who can help me?
