Could secondhand smoke cause a child to have a raspy, hoarse sounding voice?

    Of course.

    2nd hand is worse...you have the benefit of a filter. The child does not.

    I know when I'm at the bar or anywhere Smokey for an evening my voice becomes all raspy from the smoke...so yes it could happen to a child's voice.

    I'm sure it could. Second hand smoke is, after all, more toxic than 1st hand smoke.
