i am anemic. i have been since i was a child. i also have a 3 year old and work at least 40 hours a week. i was reading articles online and there was one that talked about sleep cycles and how everytime a mother is awoken by her baby and goes back to sleep she has to start the sleep cycle over. by restarting the cycle she can miss out on REM sleep which is was really helpds you recouperate. with this 3 day weekend coming up i plan on useing time to catch up on sleep. i hope it helps!

Completely normal. You have an infant. Your sleep is disrupted. And you work how much? Full time? You might be deficient in something (low iron not unusual). If the fatigue is considerable, I'd say pay your doctor a visit. Take care. Enjoy that baby.

If he only wakes up once why are you tired? When my son was three months he would wake up 3-4 times a night. If you are tired then maybe you should go and see your doctor as you have not long had a baby and you are back at work full-time so maybe you are anaemic.

Everything and Nothing is normal with a new baby. Each child is very unique.
One thing that you can do is that when baby wakes up at night, instead of giving him formula, just give him water with a little honey (if he is not allergic to honey, if baby is allergic to honey, just put a little sugar)...this, do for a few days (3) and while baby is drinking, cuddle and let him hear your sweet assuring gentle voice.
After third or fourth day, just hold the baby and don't give him anything...just your love and gentle voice and put baby back into crib gently...he'll respond... and baby will sleep through the night. God Bless you all.
