    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

An absolute divorce simply means that both parties are immediately dissolved of the marriage and free to remarry. In Maryland, there are eight possible grounds for attaining this settlement: adultery, desertion, voluntary separation, two-year separation, cruelty of treatment, excessively vicious conduct, conviction of a crime and insanity.
