    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The largest denomination of currency in circulation is the $100 bill. The U.S. Department of the Treasury previously issued $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 bills, but the last of these were recalled in 1969. The largest denomination of currency ever printed was $100,000 1934 Gold Certificate.
