Are married couples that are on mission allowed to have sex during their mission?

• Was this supposed to be a comment on my answer and my response to Alatea? If so, then you need to get to know Alatea's work better. Her posts in this section of AB consisted of nothing but attacks on my religion. On the other hand, if this was meant to be critical of me for criticizing the person who asked this question. Then no criticism was intended toward her.

• I do not think anyone was saying that people are "secluded past childbearing age." The couple missionaries just tend to be older, as it is more important to build up your family. Missionary work is important, but families are more important. Young missionaries have great purpose for themselves and those they serve to be serving at a young age. Read my answer to this question:

• Jokay, Ryacal is right: almost *all* married, full-time missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ are retired and thus well beyond normal childbearing age. If they weren’t retired, how would they be able to serve a mission, in the first place? You can’t be a full-time missionary *and* hold down a job, y’know?
   
  The only exceptions to this would be a significant minority of mission *presidents*, who can theoretically be any age (but are also generally older).
