Select the tiles you would like to install. Buy a jar of ceramic and tile mortar, also called mud, from your home improvement store. Make sure the area in your bathroom where you will be applying the decorative glass is clean and dry.
Coat the wall you will be decorating with a thin coat of mortar using a hand trowel. Apply mortar to each tile right before you set it. Set the tile by pressing the tile into the thin coat of mortar on your wall. The more gently you place the tile into the mortar, the smoother your lines between each tile will look.
Choose glass and mortar that will work, according the manufacturer's specifications, in the area that is going to be exposed to water, such as a shower, tub or sink. After you set your tiles, apply a waterproof membrane over your tile and mortar. This membrane can be purchased at a home improvement store. Allow drying time, by the membrane directions, before you expose your tiles to water.
