Is it hard to outrun a zombie?

Answer 1. It depends on the movie. In old school movies, zombies stumble along slowly. However, in movies like Resident Evil (Biohazard) they can actually run.

Answer 2. It depends on whether or not their legs have fallen off or not.

Nope. Simply by fast walking you can outrun them, afterall, zombies are rotten corpses.

Most movies seem to suggest the biggest obstacle to outrunning zombies is that people panic, which causes them to stumble and trip over air. As long as you stay calm and pay attention to where you're going, you should be able to out run a zombie with no trouble. Just make certain not to run into another group of zombies.

not at all, they walk so slow...and anyone who differes in agreement can get pwned by my noobatron 5000. fast zombies are not zombies, tho they act similarily,they have another virus altogether known as "the rage".

I outran one just last night in my 63vw bug. The zombie did okay for a second, but ended up tripping on his shoe lace.
