If you've had a baby, you've no doubt been told to do Kegel exercises, which strengthen the pubococcygeus (PC) muscles that form the pelvic floor between the legs. This is only true if you use progressive resistance training. Toning these muscles, which contract during orgasm, helps many women climax more easily; yet many of us skip this exercise or do it wrong because we are improperly informed about how effective Kegel exercises are without added resistance. Simply put, regular Kegel exercises do not work without resistance. By using the KegelmasterTM you will rapidly produce results as well as stronger muscle development which enhances bladder control, orgasms etc. Try to stop the flow of urine midstream by contracting your pelvic floor muscles. Repeat this action several times until you become familiar with the feel of contracting the correct group of muscles. Do not contract your abdominal, thigh, or buttocks muscles while performing the exercise. Another approach to help you identify the correct muscle group is to insert a finger into the vagina (in women), or rectum (in men). Try to tighten the muscles around your finger as if holding back urine. The abdominal and thigh muscles should remain relaxed. A woman may also strengthen these muscles by using a vaginal cone, which is a weighted device that is inserted into the vagina. She then tries to contract the pelvic floor muscles in an effort to hold the device the place.

Tye 209's answer is a good one. You don't need to go buying some trademarked item to know you are contracting your muscles, though. There are plenty of everyday items that you can use, from pencils to walnuts. Like most muscles, the vaginal and anal muscles will improve with repeated clenching and relaxing, so you try build up a routine, perhaps to music, of clenching something in your muscles. You will probably find that it's best to start with something a little thicker, maybe a highlighter pen or similar, and progress to thinner items that will require stronger clenching. Please also be aware that it helps if these items are slightly lubricated. Although you may be aroused at times, the exercises are not, themselves, sexual activity and lack of lubrication could result in you breaking you skin. Also please don't over-exercise. You don't want to pull a muscle. If as I suspect, the point of better muscle control is to give more sexual pleasure, then you may also want to achieve orgasm while holding items in place. Please be careful, though, as my wife broke a pencil this way.

Check out "Mantak Chia" ... http://www.tao-garden.com/universal/catalog.php?cat_id=5&N=Books&PHPSESSID=96b8b412e9bfdd8d3ffb0c6a3bce93ba He is a martial arts and health science instructor. The link will lead to some of his books. In them he explains many exercises and meditations for a deeper self awareness, a deeper self control, and even better sex. The old Taoist secret of the drilled jade egg and the special weight lifting exercises that go with it are amazing for the womans vaginal muscles ... basically, an egg size and shaped object gets a cord through it tied to a light weight ... the egg goes in the vagina while you stand over the weight, then you use your vaginal muscles to lift the weight and set it back down. The books explain in much more detail and of course go far beyond this brief mere hint at the subject.
