    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

    In Microsoft Internet Explorer

Select the "Safety" menu option from the upper-left menu in an Internet Explorer browser window and then select "Delete Browser History." Check the boxes next to the "Forms" and "History" options in the "Delete Browser History" window; if you also want to remove your search history from bookmarked websites, uncheck the box next to the "Preserve Favorites website data" option. Click the "Delete" button to clean Internet Explorer's search history; please note that your search history cannot be recovered once you have initiated this process.

    In Mozilla Firefox

Select the "Tools" menu option from the upper-left menu in a Mozilla Firefox browser window and then select "Clear Recent History." Check the boxes next to the "Browser & Download History" and "Form & Search History" options. Click the "Clear" button to clean Mozilla Firefox's search history. Please note that your search history cannot be recovered once you have initiated this process.
