    Great Answer

    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

    Curb Appeal

Clean up and improve the way your house looks on the outside. Clean up any garbage or debris, paint the exterior, and, if there is a front porch, make it look inviting. Also, do some landscaping. This can add a lot to the potential value of a home.

    Home Improvements

Make improvements or completely renovate any outdated rooms to make them more appealing and more useful. Renovating the kitchen or the bathroom will add the most value.

    Fix Problem Areas

Take care of any repairs that the house needs, such as old or leaky plumbing, old furnaces or water heaters, a leaky roof, a cracked foundation, shoddy electrical work or anything else that may detract from the value of the home.
