It is possible that 64-sided dice exist, but they may be difficult to find. Other polyhedral, or many-sided, dice are more common, such as ones with 20, 24, 30 or more sides. On the other hand, six-sided dice with the number 64 printed on one of the six sides exist. These are called doubling cubes and are used in the game of backgammon. mathartfun.com: Polyhedral Dice dicecollector.com: What shapes do dice have? backgammonforbeginners: Doubling CubeSource:

A 64 sided die COULD exist ... but I have yet to see one
It would likely have to be a dipyramidal die like the D50 shown here ... http://www.dicecollector.com/D50_OPAQUE_ROUNDED_SOLID.jpg
If this approach is taken ... the die would have to be quite large ... in order for there to be enough space on each face ... to cause the die to stop rolling
