I believe the first recorded history was in the form of cave paintings, such as those of Lascaux in France. It was pretty basic information, like what they hunted at the time, but it is still recorded history.

Outside of personal opinion, does anyone have any online references to cite, preferably from globally reputable archaeologists? The Bible dates the entirety of earth's existence at roughly 6,500 years, give or take only a few hundred years. Scientifically verifiable history seems to point towards 5,000 total years of reliable recorded history. Evolutionist theories point more towards 15,000 - 25,000 years of recorded history (cave drawings). Which is it? What does the hard archaelogical evidence support beyond any speculation? Any references someone can point us to? After all, the court of popular opinion does not make a thing so.
