    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

According to Universe Today, in theory, a direct flight to Jupiter would take two years there and two years back. However, when NASA sent the Galileo spacecraft to Jupiter, they used the gravity of the Earth and Venus for propulsion, extending the trip to six years. In 2006, NASA sent New Horizons to Jupiter in just 13 months; it is on its way to Pluto.
